Terms and Conditions
Whilst we like to maintain a relaxed and informal relationship with everyone who visits Dunvegan House, please make sure you understand and agree with the terms set out below so that there is no misunderstandings prior to, or whilst staying with us.
Deposit and Payment.
A deposit of £100 per week is requested at time of booking. Upon confirmation of booking you will be sent a receipt of payment and booking form which will detail the outstanding balance and dates of payment due. Please make cheques payable to Mrs P Macleod.
In case of cancellation every effort will be made to re-let the property. If this is possible then your balance of rental will be returned.
Care of Property.
We ask that people treat our property with care and respect. Please report any breakages or damages so these can be replaced. You will also be asked to cover the costs for replacement or repair.
Right of Admission.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to the property and to require persons to leave if we consider there is a breach of contract or deem that there is damage to the property, cause of nuisance, or conduct of an offensive manner.
Sorry but smoking is not permitted in Dunvegan House - please be aware that Scotland is now non-smoking in all public and work places.
Our letting periods are Saturday to Saturday. The usual time of take over is 4.00pm on Saturday (subject to unavoidable delays - if you will be late yourselves, please let us know). We request the property is vacated by 10.00am on the final day of your stay. As part of the terms of the let we ask that every reasonable care is taken of the contents and the property be left in a clean and tidy condition on departure.
